Remembering how to sew
Seven or so years ago, I got a sewing machine and took a class on how to use it at a community college. I made a skirt and a quilt for Evan. Then, I had a new baby and the machine got put away. It has stayed away all that time. A couple of weeks ago, I decided I would like to make pajama pants for the boys. I went to a friend’s house (thanks Summer!) and she talked me through some things I had forgotten. That went pretty well and both boys had a cute pair of pants. I decided that I had enough material to make Grayson a matching shirt.
Ok, if you can sew, you may very well be laughing at me. Making a shirt with all its curves and button holes is a whole different story than making pajama pants. It took several days and a couple of phone calls for help, but the shirt got made and it fit! You’d be amazed at how exciting that was.
Here’s a picture of both boys. You can tell from E’s tummy that he probably needs a shirt, too!

So cute! I am so glad you were able to find someone more skilled than me to help. (Though finding someone more skilled than me isn’t very difficult).
